Kevin Edmondstone 'Echidna Hunt'Kevin Edmondstone 'Echidna Hunt' 2024 Acrylic on canvas 120 cm x 90 cm x 4 cm When I was with my adopted family, I met my first Aboriginal family in Toowoomba. They showed me how to hunt and how to look for the echidna. Sometimes, the echidna is in hollow logs; other times, they are in termite beds. In the painting, the grey around the two echidnae is the termite bed with the termite ants. Exhibited in 'Freshwater Saltwater' exhibition @ UMI Arts
