She was an amazing woman who was well respected, loved and known by many as Big Ama or Big Mother on Erub (Darnley Island) and Cairns. The second is because the barramundi changes into a female once it reaches about 80cm. Therefore any big barramundi is a Big Ama or Big Mother.
